Need help with dover composite units

We're having a weird issue with a couple of elevators and is a little stumped.
They're Dover composite units, and they'll start to take off from a floor, but then they'll stop and level themselves back in. It happens going up and down.

My coworker said they have optical sensors, and he's never really worked on this type before, so he's not sure where to even start looking for a fix.

Any ideas on what could be causing this? Any help would be awesome.

Probably the door zone or leveling sensors acting up, try cleaning and checking the alignment
