Have you noticed attitude issues with the guys that install the elevators? had a few with demands and complaints right away. Some are also not great at communicating. it feels like they sometimes forget we're all trying to get the job done! Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

yo.. you really know whats up, expecting you to roll out the red carpet when they come, I've had my fair share of "just do it my way" types. I think some of them forget we're all just trying to keep the building from falling down, not start a war

The ones where I am are nice ones. maybe your elevator guys are just having a bad day? or they're pretty straightforward?

Yeah, it's everywhere! You do run into some folks with a bit of an attitude or who just can't communicate well, you know? But honestly, there are also tons of great, laid-back teams out there. It's just one of those things that comes with the territory sometimes.

Yeah, you're not the only one, I've dealt with a few elevator install crews who came in with a chip on their shoulder making demands, pushing schedules, and acting like coordination is everyone else's problem. Not all of them, of course, but there's definitely a pattern with certain teams

I can't say I've had any professional dealings with elevator guys, but we regularly have a crew over at the building where I live, the elevator is a mess and the neighbors aren't too happy to pay and replace it, so the crew is over at our building quite commonly. To be honest, I'm a few visits away from inviting them over for Christmas. They're super polite, on time and the best people I know. I'm guessing it depends on the people.
