Cargo elevator

A potential client reached out to me about building something that should be like a warehouse. We're still working ont he details, but as far as he was able to explain, he needs it to be like a two story one with a cargo elevator. I've never woked with elevators before, so my question is: where do I start? Would a subcontractor be the best course of action or things are different with these kinds of elevators?
